ENTERCOM Country WDAF PD WES McSHAY has confirmed that broadcast veteran and COUNTRY DJ HALL OF FAMER TED CRAMER has resigned from his OM/midday position. McSHAY has hired CUMULUS Country WXXQ/ROCKFORD, PD JESSE GARCIA for APD/MD/midday duties. GARCIA will start his new post at WDAF beginning JULY 19th.

CRAMER has moved to crosstown Country rival INFINITY KFKF where he will take on what PD DALE CARTER calls "a unique role". He will work weekends on-air and also serve as an advisor to CARTER. This is a homecoming of sorts for CRAMER who put KCKN-F on the air in 1963 as a 24/7 Country station. The calls letters eventually changed to the current KFKF, but the format has stayed the same for 41 years.
