ESPN has laid off about 100 employees at its BRISTOL, CT headquarters, part of previously announced cuts that followed a review of the network's operations.

The cuts affected departments across the company, but the network expects to add positions in the near future that would restore the company to 3,400 in CONNECTICUT.
