WRBU-TV UPN 46, is scheduled to launch April 1 in the St. Louis area.

The station, owned by Michael and Steven Roberts, is the only owned-and-operated minority broadcast facility in the St. Louis area. The Robertses said St. Louis is the only market out of the top 80 television markets that does not have a UPN affiliate.

The Robertses changed the station's call letters from WSHL Jan. 17 following a multimillion-dollar renovation project to the Victor Roberts Building.

Some of the shows that will appear on the network include "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "The Hughleys," "The Parkers," "Girlfriends," and "WWE Smackdown."

"There is an untapped segment in this market that is underserved and our station plans to deliver programming that they will enjoy," said Mike Roberts, in a statement.
